Mit unseren Sensoren sind wir un­mittel­bar am Motor. Die „Horn-Box“ gibt die rele­van­ten Daten an über­ge­ord­nete Sys­teme stan­dar­di­siert wei­ter. Das ist unser Bei­trag zur her­stel­ler­un­ab­hän­gi­gen Schiffs­motori­sie­rung.

We have thus implemented the requirements of the MTP (Modular Type Package) on the engine. In summary, with the help of MTP it will no longer be a question in future of how a function is im­ple­mented in detail in terms of au­toma­tion tech­nol­ogy, but only of whether it is avail­able at all and func­tions reliably. This approach sig­nif­i­cantly re­duces the com­plex­ity of ship au­tomation.

On the basis of an IP-capable network, the standard OPC UA is used as a uni­form in­ter­face for cross-machine in­for­ma­tion access. The pa­ra­me­ters rel­e­vant for mon­i­tor­ing an engine are in­te­grated into the condition mon­i­tor­ing sys­tem. We are able to design these cus­tomer pa­ra­me­ters in a con­sen­sual man­ner using our sen­sor tech­nology.

• Data collection and evaluation during the ongoing operation of the ship are standardised and much more efficient than before
• The relevant parameters are determined individually: thus we guarantee a comprehensive monitoring of the engine
